CANCELLATION POLICY


Modern Style Studio requires a credit card, ApplePay, Venmo, Pay Pal, or Cash App payment to hold each reservation. In the event that you have to cancel or reschedule a reservation 72 hours notice is required.


  • If 72 hours notice is not given the card on file will be charged 50% of service cost. 
  • If appointment is cancelled within 48 hours, 50% of the service that was scheduled to be performed will be charged to the card on file.
  • If your appointment is cancelled in LESS than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, your card will be charged for the full amount of the services booked. No shows and same day cancellations are included under this policy and will be charged for the full amount of the services booked.

  • Please be aware that if you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled reservation we will not be able to guarantee that you will receive the full services scheduled.

Due to high volume appointment request, and length of time we’d need to hold for your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible if we need to make any changes. Thank you for understanding!

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your overall experience here at Modern Style Studio. We know that your hair is important to you, it is to us as well!  We want you to have the best experience from the moment you step through the door until the moment you check out!

As professionals, we strive to communicate how important it is to take the most healthy and realistic approach to achieving your hair goals! If you are not happy with your experience, we will make any necessary adjustments so you can leave our salon feeling amazing! After all, our goal is to build a long lasting relationship with you and be your most trusted salon for life!

Please review our updated policies and your service description! If you have any questions about any of the following please ask one of our team members and we would love to assist. 


  • WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS.
    If you are unsatisfied with your hair we would love to make adjustments for you within 10 days of your original service!
  • If you book a hair appointment without scheduling a consultation first, we will refund you, but there will be a refund fee of 7.95. 
  • We can not perform any redo services (hair color or extensions) if you or another stylist, or friend makes adjustments to your hair.
  • Your color, or extensions service will only be guaranteed if you invest in the recommended products directly from our salon. If you do not invest in the recommended products we can not perform any redo services complimentary.
  • Some complex or corrective color services may require multiple visits/services to achieve. Your stylist will tell you directly if your goal cannot be achieved in one sitting.
  • No color service is guaranteed if you have box color present in your hair since box color has an inconsistent nature.
  • Please note our 72 hour cancellation policy, we do require a 72 hour notice for all cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.
  • $100 deposit is required to secure your first color appointment and is non-refundable.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

HAIR EXTENSIONS

• All custom hair sales are FINAL. No refunds, exchanges, or transfers on deposits.
• If you’ve purchased our premium level hair, there is a manufacturer warranty of 3 months. (manufacturer defects)

**Warranty will be voided if client doesn’t take proper care of hair; not using salon products as directed, refuses to take care of hair as instructed, and allowing another stylist or friend to cut, color, or remove  hair extensions from hair. Hair extensions must still be installed by our extension specialists on photo or video when submitting to the distribution center. Approval for replacement may take up to 30 -45 days .

We guaranteed all Living Proof & Olaplex products we carry are authentic, and will gladly exchange unopened hair care products within 7 days of purchase, with sales receipt.
